Rotten & Forgotten

by Academy Award Winner Michael Caine

Rotten & Forgotten is the first studio album by American rapper and producer Academy Award Winner Michael Caine. It was released on May 3rd, 2017, by Disgruntled Swarm Jaguar Hunt Records as the follow-up to his 2013 debut EP KIINGDOM. The record was produced primarily by Academy Award Winner Michael Caine (aka Cademy) and features several guest contributions from fellow American rappers such as No Dice and BZY B with special guest appearances by Jerry Seinfeld & George Costanza. Rotten & Forgotten exhibits an expansion on his debut's G-funk sound and contains gangsta rap themes such as violence, promiscuity, drug use, street gangs, and crime.

The album debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling 516,000 copies in its first week. It produced three singles that attained chart success and has been certified sextuple platinum in sales by the RIAA; as of June 2017 the album has sold 7,800,000 copies in the United States. Rotten & Forgotten received mostly positive reviews from critics, many of whom praised the music although some found the lyrics objectionable.
